{"id":223,"date":"2015-06-22T09:58:40","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T16:58:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pdg.net\/catchatarian\/?p=223"},"modified":"2015-06-22T09:58:40","modified_gmt":"2015-06-22T16:58:40","slug":"super-energy-kale-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pdg.net\/catchatarian\/super-energy-kale-soup\/","title":{"rendered":"Super Energy Kale Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Super Energy Kale Soup<br \/>\nIngredients:<\/p>\n<p>    1 medium onion, chopped<br \/>\n    4 cloves garlic, chopped<br \/>\n    5 cups chicken or bone broth<br \/>\n    1 medium carrot, diced into 1\/4-inch cubes (about 1 cup)<br \/>\n    1 cup diced celery<br \/>\n    2 red potatoes, diced into 1\/2-inch cubes<br \/>\n    3 cups kale, rinsed, stems removed and chopped very fine<br \/>\n    2 tsp dried thyme<br \/>\n    2 tsp dried sage<br \/>\n    salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>    Chop garlic and onions and let sit for 5 minutes to bring out their health benefits.<br \/>\n    Heat 1 TBS broth in a medium soup pot.<br \/>\n    Saut\u00e9 onion in broth over medium heat for about 5 minutes stirring frequently.<br \/>\n    Add garlic and continue to saut\u00e9 for another minute.<br \/>\n    Add broth, carrots, and celery and bring to a boil on high heat.<br \/>\n    Once it comes to a boil reduce heat to a simmer and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 more minutes.<br \/>\n    Add kale and rest of ingredients and cook another 5 minutes.
